MetroCare of Springfield was founded on the principle of providing residents of Western Massachusetts with reliable, and accessible caregiving.

Founded in downtown Springfield, MetroCare prides itself in providing the utmost quality of service to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Our goal is to provide culturally aware services to a diverse community of individuals. Our objective is to keep individuals happy and healthy in their homes. We strive to avoid long term hospitalization of all of our participants and we will work diligently with you, your family and your physician to develop a comprehensive care plan that will benefit you and your loved ones.

Our Staff

  • Luz Lopez
    Luz Lopez Executive Director

    Luz Lopez is a founding member of MetroCare of Springfield and currently serves as the Executive Director for both the AFC and GAFC programs. Luz has resided in the Springfield area for 20+ years and is a well known community leader in Western Massachusettts. In addition to her current role, Luz volunteers for many non-profit organizations in Springfield and Western Massachusetts.

  • Harry Rodriguez
    Harry Rodriguez Program Director

    Harry J. Rodriguez is a Vietnam Era Veteran and holds an M.Ed. from Westfield State University where he majored in education and psychology. Mr. Rodriguez has worked as a Licensed Special Education teacher in the Holyoke public school system. He has worked as Licensed Social Worker for over twenty years, working with adolescents, disabled persons and the elderly. He has devoted the last ten years to the Adult Foster Care program in the Greater Springfield area.

  • David Correa, Jr.
    David Correa, Jr. Office Manager

    David joined the MetroCare team in January 2017. In his spare time David enjoys spending time with his family, and cooking. David has years of experience working with elderly and disabled individuals and is an advocate for the LGBTQ community in the local Western Mass area. David’s favorite things to do is to make people laugh!
